Angela Barker, LMT

Angela is a full time orthopedic massage therapist working at Thacker Family Physicians in Milton, West Virginia. A graduate of Mountain State School of Massage who has continued her education in the massage field studying under some of the masters of massage therapy. Including James Waslaski who she has her orthopedic certification under.

Angela's patients/clients include people of all ages and backgrounds; ranging from little leaguer baseball players to gold metal world champion athletes, from grandmothers to preschoolers. Treating muscle and soft tissue injuries ranging from minor first degree strains to complex post-operative rehabilitaions.

Angela is also very active in the massage community. Volunteering her time and talents at both the state and national level. Currently serving NCBTMB as the Nominations Task Force chair. She is also a published author with article appearing in massage trade publications such as Massage Magazine.

Angela travels quite extensively as a NCBTMB continued education provider. Sharing her techniques (and a few tricks) with others interested in exploring the benefits of OMT.

In 2007 she was named as a Who's Who Among Executive and Professional Women in Healthcare.
